The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
